Firefighter Kopczynski welcomes home his new baby daughter, Madelyn.

The Beukendaal Fire Department sends warm wishes and best regards to him and his newly expanded family!

For years Denise Slattery, a member of the Beukendaal Fire Department, has been searching for her sister who was adopted when they were very young.

On Monday, May 13th the sisters were reunited thanks to tireless efforts of the local news and social media, as well as Denise and her sisters.

We are very happy to know that Denise’s hard work has paid off as the two met each other for the first time at Station 1 on Sacandaga Rd.
